She is first acting appearance was in ‘Darshan’, a Kannada movie. Then was followed her debut in Telugu with ‘Seenu, Vasanthi, and Lakshmi’. Chetna (2005), Jagapathi (2005), Bhuma (2008), Good Boy, etc., are some of the other movies. Her Mollywood debut opposite Megastar Mammootty in the Malayalam film Parunthu didn’t happen. She was replaced by Lakshmi Rai.
Navneet Kaur has also acted in the movies, ‘Kalachakram’, ‘Terror’, ‘Flash News’, and ‘Jabilamma’ in Telugu. She was also shared screen space with Vijayakanth in a Tamil movie named ‘Arasangam’. Navneet Kaur Complete Bio & Career
Navneet Kaur was born in a Punjabi family staying in Mumbai. She discontinued her studies after 12th and started modeling as her full-time career. During the initial phase of her career, she appeared in 6 music videos and after getting noticed from there she has started getting various film offers.
She made her acting debut through Kannada film Darshan in the year 2004. After that, she was seen in a series of Telugu films such as Seenu Vasanthi Lakshmi, Jagapathi, Yamadonga, and Jabilamma among others. In between, she also worked in an adult Hindi film called Chetna: The Excitement in the year 2005. In 2008, she made her Tamil and Malayalam film debut through films
Arasangam and Love in Singapore respectively. In 2010, she was appearing in 2 Punjabi films such as Lad Gaya Pecha and Chhevan Dariya (The Sixth River). The latter being her last film as she took retirement from films and instead decided to make a career in politics.

Controversy
In 2014, Navneet Kaur landed into a controversy over her caste certificate. While Navneet filed a petition challenging the caste certificates issued to her, a writ petition was filled by Raju Mankar starting that his statutory right has been jeopardized as he wants to contents the Lok Sabha elections from the Amaravati seat which was reserved for scheduled caste. He mentioned in his petition that -“She originally hails from the state of Punjab. As per information received by the petitioners, she belongs to Labana caste which is not recognized as scheduled caste in the state of Maharashtra. However, She initially obtained a caste certificate from the Sub-Divisional Officer on the basis of fake school leaving certificate.”
